Bring this old schoolyard game into the 21st Century!
This is a game that involves a lot of running. For this reason, it's recommended it be played in woodland terrain rather than indoors.
In this game, players with low mobility have the opportunity to participate as defenders.
Each team gets unlimited reactivations from their battle box. This allows every player to play the entire game - no one sits out!
Battlefield LIVE-themed Electronic "Capture the Flag" Game has quickly become a super popular game. Reminiscent of childhood tag games, or paintball games Capture the Flag is challenging and fun.
Play with roughly equal team sizes.
Teams start at opposite ends of the battlefield.
This game is best to play in a dense location. The bases should be closer together than your typical laser tag configuration - but the spaces between them should be full of places to hide behind.
Teams receive unlimited respawns from their own team’s Battle Box set as a medic box.
They must defend their Flag Box. There's one for each team.
To score a point, a player must get over to the other team's Flag Box first. From there they collect a "Flag". It's stored inside the computer of their tagger.
Then they rush back to their own Flag Box and return the flag. That scores their team 1 point.
Multiple flags can be in play at once. So the Blue team might be trying to return three or four flags at once. Meanwhile, Red team is sneaking into their base to collect a Flag from them!
This game is a little more complex than other standard games in the Laser Tag theme. We recommend playing a couple "warm up" games such as Team Elimination or Bullseye first. Then ramp up the action with this intense game!
It is a terrific game for players with a lot of energy! The game aims to collect as many virtual flags as possible. We recommend this game for two teams: Red vs Blue. Unlike the traditional Capture the Flag, there is not just one material flag. Rather these flags are virtual and there can be more than one virtual flag in play at any one time.
To score on a flag point, you need to run to the enemy's flag box and tag it. This is a Battle Box set as a Flag Box. It will issue a sound effect "Flag Captured!".
So the gamer knows they have acquired one virtual flag. The player then needs to run back to their team's base and tag their flag box. This counts as one flag point.
