Engage your target market by riding the wave of popular video games. Teens and Preteens have grown up on gaming. They love it.
Bringing their favorite game into the real world (and your operation) is the key to getting teens through the door.
But what is the favorite? Well: Fortnite!
Kevin Webb from Business Insider believes the "FORTNITE" is the most important video game of the decade. According to ActivePlayer, Fortnite saw an average of 229million+ monthly players in the last 30 days (April 2024).
Live-action gaming is inspired by Fortnite and PUBG, both popular video games.
This live-action gaming theme uses new game props like Supply Crates to level up the thrill.
Live Action Gaming is all about immersing your customers in a heart-pounding scenario, based on the most popular games of the decade!
Ride the wave of the "Fortnite Craze" at your operation.
With millions of users worldwide, Fortnite's size is equivalent to that of X, formerly known as Twitter. According to statistics from Business of Apps, 2 out of 3 Fortnite weekly players aged 10 years old to 17 years old say that Fortnite is on the way up. It's one of their favorite brands, behind only Netflix and YouTube.
There is no sign its momentum is slowing! Perhaps Reed Hastings, CEO of Netflix, said it best: “We compete (and lose to) Fortnite more than HBO”.
Fortnite came out in 2017. It took the world of video gaming by storm. Since then, "Battle Royale" has become one of the most popular video game genres. More and more games offer this showdown game mechanic every year.
Marketing to Mums expert, Katrina McCarter agrees: "Fortnite is a video game that is very very popular for boys aged 9 through to 16. When my son is not actually playing the game, he is watching YouTube videos on how to play it better."
Laser Skirmish is targeted directly to the same age range who love and play Fortnite. The Supply Crates are inspired by the "loot boxes" found on the Fortnite map. Players absolutely love collecting weapon upgrades and you'll surely hear all about it as they come off the field at the end of the game.
Every gamer has a gaming gun. When the mission starts, they have 100 Health Points.
They all start with a "Common Automatic Pistol" as their emulation. Gaming guns have slots for up to four weapon emulations but everyone starts with just one.
Every time a gamer is hit in the game, they take damage. In this theme, the damage is variable. Different emulations will inflict different amounts of damage. Regardless, when hit a gamer will lose some Health Points.
Once their Health Points reach zero, they are "dead".
Gamers will need to return to base camp to get a respawn. Once they get close enough to base, the Battle Box there will respawn them, taking them back to 100 Health Points once more.
Supply Crates & Loot Boxes have been in video games for over a decade. Now they’ve come to Live Action Gaming!
Every 15 seconds the box randomizes the items automatically from its list.
Gamers love supply crates because while there's plenty of randomness, whatever they get from the crate will be helpful.
Having the supply crates on the field adds a secondary objective to any mission you might run. The team that controls a supply crate can collect more upgrades during the game.
A Supply Crate will have one weapon, one aid, and one ammunition resupply available for collection by a gamer. All the gamer needs to do is stand near the box and their gaming gun will collect the supply.
Weapons, Ammunition, and Aids each have their ranking & rarity. The better the item, the rarer it is!
A key element in any live gaming product is the ease with which users can "pick up and play".
Part of what makes Laser Skirmish engaging to play and easy to understand is the Automatic Slot Management.
All players start with a "Common Automatic Pistol". This is stored in Slot 1. If they reach a Supply Crate and collect a better weapon, then the Pistol is automatically moved into Slot 2. The new weapon is in Slot 1.
For the player, that means they go from using their Pistol to their new weapon without needing to click a button.
Later, if they run out of ammo for their new weapon, the system will switch them back to the Pistol. They can keep on playing without worries.
No buttons to press = nothing to remember. The computer inside the laser tag equipment does everything!
Creating the perfect "Got 'em!" moment.
Our technology means players know when they've made a hit EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Real-time hit-feedback means that when a player shoots a target (either a battlefield prop or another tagger) and hit, wound, kill, or makes a critical hit then that shooter knows it.
Battlefield Sports' tech "SATR" works peer-to-peer so there is no central computer.
Here are some of the hit feedback sounds you'll hear in the Laser Skirmish theme:
"Hit!" means the opponent has been hit but is above half-health.
"Wound!" means the opponent has been hit and is below half-health.
"Kill!" means the opponent is now dead.
"Dead Already!" means the opponent was already dead. This informs the gamer they should find a new target.
"Ricochet!" means the opponent has been hit and their Shields were damaged. Players can collect Shields from the Supply Crate.
Engineered For Heroes
It's our innovation and technical excellence that sets Battlefield Sports apart. We solve the headache of how to get pre-teens and teens engaged using live-action gaming.
As they say "If you can't beat 'em, join them!".
This live-action gaming technology helps gamers live out their hero scenarios. It gets their brain working and their heart pumping! We combine technology with stunning design to create a thrilling live-action gaming experience.
Battlefield Sports' patented SATR technology allows the battlefield operator to control how simple, or how complex, a game experience you want.
The gaming guns come with an LCD with individual live stats.
At the end of the mission, the gamer can review how they did with stats like K/D (Kill to Death ratio), A/W (Assist to Wound ratio), and their Accuracy.
The live scoreboard gives the gamers a visualization of how well they are doing.
After many years in the industry, Battlefield Sports has developed several tried-and-true missions perfect for teens. The scoreboard allows you to display the scores for any of these missions. Or display a leaderboard with all the players ranked in order.
This is an optional extra for your operation.
SATR GO
Our smart software means you can "set & forget"!
The previous configuration is remembered by the devices, so the next time you turn on your equipment, no settings need to be changed.
This makes staff training easy!
Because the technology does all the heavy lifting, the laser tag system can be operated with very few staff. Only one staff member is needed up for to 25 players. And with an assistant, a manager can typically handle up to 80 people at once.
Battlefield Sports has developed several epic missions that are simple to run, easy to duplicate, and - most importantly - guaranteed to engage your customers.
These missions have been designed to be straightforward and thrilling.
Heist is an exciting and challenging mission for all ages, but especially teens and adults.
The idea of this mission is that each team tries to collect money and deposit it in their team's vault. Money can be collected in three ways: either you shoot the money drop (while it has cash), kill an opponent who is carrying money, or steal money from another team's vault.
At the end of the mission, whichever team has the most amount of cash WINS!
This is a massively popular mission. People love collecting money (even if it's virtual). The game is dynamic. To win, the team will need some players working as defenders, more as collectors, and finally - a few raiders! Players can switch up what they doing, filling each of these roles throughout the mission.THE HEIST MISSION
