For over 35 years, the centre has welcomed guests seeking adventure, serenity, conferences, or creative workshops.
Now, with the addition of outdoor laser tag, the experience is even more exciting for young visitors.
Since 2011, the Collaroy Centre has offered outdoor laser tag using Battlefield Sports' laser tag equipment.
Laser tag games offer participants a thrilling blend of strategy, teamwork, and adrenaline.
The center offers a variety of outdoor adventurous activities onsite, including abseiling, high ropes, archery, and a flying fox (zipline).
Since 2019, laser tag has become the centre's most popular activity, running nearly every day of the week and engaging over 50,000 participants.
The Salvos use the Cobra Tagger.
"During those years since we opened, Laser Tag has developed into our most popular, most utilized activity. It's very popular! It runs nearly every day of the week, every week. The product and service Battlefield Sports provides is amazing and genuinely helps us change the lives of every participant who walks through our gates," said Steven Carter, Program Manager.
From school camps to birthday parties, conferences, to Mission Groups, Laser Tag is always the first choice for some adrenaline in the great outdoors.
The continuously evolving laser tag technology allows the Collaroy Centre team to run a range of games.
As well as the standard SATR "Capture the Flag" game, the team at The Collaroy Centre runs unique games, including:
* Terminator
* Protect the President, and
* Medic.

"The most important element of the Salvation Army's work is building connections with people first. Connections that bring healing and that bring wholeness. And bring transformation," said Robyn, Salvation Army Officer.
“Capture the Flag is just one of the laser tag games we play at The Collaroy Centre,” said Steven.
