Boasting a perfect balance of bushland and beaches the Salvation Army-owned and operated site has been servicing guests for over 35 years.

Whether for thrilling activities, tranquil serenity, bustling conferences, or a craft weekend, The Collaroy Centre is the place to be!

"Laser Tag is easily our most marketable and exciting activity. The way the kids' faces light up when they see the laser taggers and the field is the reason I continue to work in this industry," said Steven Carter, Program Manager.

What The Collaroy Centre Offers

As well as the laser tag, the center offers a variety of outdoor adventurous activities here onsite including abseiling, high ropes, archery, and a flying fox (zipline).

Since 2011 The Collaroy Centre has provided outdoor laser tag using Battlefield Sports laser tag equipment.

The Salvos use the Cobra Tagger.

"During those years since we opened, Laser Tag has developed into our most popular, most utilized activity.

It's very popular!

It runs nearly every day of the week, every week. The product and service Battlefield Sports provides is amazing and genuinely helps us change the lives of every participant who walks through our gates," said Steven Carter, Program Manager.

 From school camps to birthday parties, and conferences, to Mission Groups, Laser Tag is always the first choice for some adrenaline in the great outdoors.

* Protect the President, and

* Medic.

In 1988, the world leader of The Salvation Army, Australia’s General Eva Burrows, opened the current Collaroy Centre complex.

In 2011, the Center introduced outdoor laser tag using the Cobra laser taggers.

In 2018 the team upgraded their software.

Since 2019 the Salvation Army has engaged over 50,000 laser tag participants!

 "The most important element of the Salvation Army's work is building connections with people first. Connections that bring healing and that brings wholeness. And bring transformation," said Robyn, Salvation Army Officer.

“Capture the Flag is just one of the laser tag games we play at The Collaroy Centre,” said Steven.
