Adventure across Land, Air & Water

Case Study: Oenanathe Outdoor

Oenanathe Outdoor & Laser Tag

Oenanthe Outdoor offers adventures across land, air, and water.

The adventure business started at Transfo, Belgium in 2003. Today they have two permanent locations, offer mobile events, and have a rental service.

The outdoor specialist first ordered their laser tag equipment in 2011 and started with mostly Spitfires but since has ordered more Cobra laser tag guns.

Indeed they have grown their arsenal because outdoor laser tag has become more and more popular.

“Since incorporating Battlefield Sports equipment into our operations, Oenanthe Outdoor has transformed the way we deliver adventure experiences."

"Located on a unique former power plant site, we operate two distinctive fields: one among old transformer machines for an industrial vibe and another set in a natural forested area,” said Olivier Verougstraete, Manager.

“We host events for groups of up to 50 participants who play at the same moment, including schools, companies, and casual players, offering both competitive tournaments and recreational play.”

“Additionally, our mobile service brings excitement to customers’ locations, whether on private land or corporate grounds. We also rent taggers for those who want to organize their own games, adding flexibility to our offerings,” said Olivier.

Oenanthe offers a combination of action, adventure, and adrenaline.

Their activities include:

  • rope courses,
  • paddleboarding,
  • mountain biking,
  •  team challenges,
  • kayaking,
  • and more.

The organization boasts an extensive array of laser tag equipment from Battlefield Sports.

The team has added 32 more Cobras to their arsenal this year due to increased demand.

- 32 Awesome Cobras

- Spitfires

- Scorpions

- Master Controllers

- Battle Boxes.

They entertain groups such as schools and campers.

One of their specialties is school sports days. They often have 50 students playing laser tag at once.

At Transfo, the team can host up to 240 students in an adventure package where laser tag is one of the activities.

The activities can be organized at their permanent locations (Transfo Zwevegem, and De Gavers Harelbeke).

Transfo is a fascinating location. It is an old power station, built in 1911. Decommissioned in 2001, the power station has now been repurposed into a tourist location.

The team can also deliver the experience at the customer's location.
