Teen Obesity Trends: ProBlem Versus Solution

How would you like to be a part of the solution to the gamer generation's most pressing health problem?

"Exergaming" or "exertainment" is the marriage of physical exercise and live gaming inspired by video games.
This is becoming a hot new niche, and the most bullish aficionados say it might even help reduce the nation's obesity epidemic.

Teen Obesity Problem

teen girlProblem: Kids are getting fatter and fatter.
Our kids, your kids, everyone's kids.
The problem has been well-documented: Researchers say a combination of too much screen time, cuts in school physical education programs and a sugary, high-fat diet have left kids dangerously out of shape.

Back in 2012 fifteen percent of school-age children were estimated to be obese.

The American Heart Association reported in 2012 that more than 10% of U.S. children from ages 2 to 5 are overweight, up 7 percent compared to the 2002 figures.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention survey released in 2003 found that nearly 23% of children between the ages of 9 to 13 weren't physically active at all in their free time.

More recently, data from 2015-2016 showed that nearly 20% of school-aged children and young people (6 to 19 years) in the United States are obese.*

Back in 2012, according to SGMA International, nearly four million Americans tipped the scales at more than 300 pounds.

Now, we all know the problem...what's the answer?

Teen Obesity Solution

A new 2019 study from the University of Colorado revealed physical activity does more to maintain substantial weight loss than diet.

Traditional sport is not a popular choice with teens.**

Solution: We've got it... tried and tested on 100,000+ kids in the western world: live gaming!

All action fun with their friends and excitement that's thrilling.

It's the only thing that will get them away from video games, TV or just hanging at the burger place with their friends.

Action from start to finish. Recent research has discovered that non-traditional sport like Laser Tag might just be the way to get teens active again (read the blog on this.)

Parents "get it" instantly, so they are an easy sell... and the kids love it.

Plus you profit from it.
Don't underestimate the power of this one folks...this is a big trend and our business owners around the world are discovering that they have a true "Under the Radar" boot camp business for these kids.

Profits are as big as the trend gathers momentum.

Other so-called solutions will have to go a LONG way to drive in as much excitement as we have...
