This event, LivePlay1, promises to be the biggest live gaming event of 2007.

Event organizers, Battlefield Sports & NXGamers, challenge gamers across America to compete online in Call of Duty™, Rainbow Six™, Gears of War™ to prove their combat readiness and gain entry into the inaugural tournament.

The sponsorship deal will provide each member of the ‘Vixnz team with a new patented SATR™ unit to train and compete on, as well as participating in Battlefield Sports’ grassroots marketing campaign.

"We're pleased to be working with such an international force in competitive gaming," said Shaun James Browne, former Vice President of International Sales for Battlefield Sports.

"Clan VenamusVixnz global fan base is unmatched and we're excited to have them drive home Battlefield Sports’ position as the choice of gamers worldwide for live gaming guns."

Team Leader of the all girl clan, VenamusVixnz, Cindi Self aka VV Killervixen, says “This sponsorship is not only an opportunity for us as a clan, but for all female gamers worldwide.”

“We want our name known within the gaming community not only for being female, but for being skilled, dedicated and always willing to learn something new,” said Ms Self.

Battlefield Sports’ gaming guns shoot infrared “bullets” to simulate the direct-fire effects of each gamer’s engagements on the battlefield.

Battlefield Sports’ Founder and Chief Game Master, Peter Lander will personally oversee the 2007 LivePlay1 tournament.

LivePlay1 is what all gamers strive for; to go from listening to gunfire via their speakers to hearing it all around them as their pulse races.

LivePlay1 will be time to experience the ultimate first person shooter.

Teams will shoot, move, and communicate on a battlefield set up by the experts from Battlefield Sports to eliminate opponents they had been playing online only days before.

The end result will be a weekend of fierce competition, sweat and tears for a fantastic prize package.

In 2007, Battlefield Sports is closing in on real combat.
