IAAPA Trade Show

This year IAAPA urges attendees to “Unleash your inner child. Imagine the possibilities!”.

SATR 2.0 New Features

The new SATR version 2.0 has lots of new features for you, including:

  • Mystery Box (just like in the Call of Duty video game), this is a fun feature and worth a try
  • Armour upgrade box (players can get a HP upgrade if they get to the box, simulating more body armor)
  • Cure Box, will cure a Zombie infection players get in Apocalypse mode, if they are set as a Survivor
  • If team B player takes control of the Domination box, his/her gaming gun will now make a different sound effect (a ding versus a dong)
  • The Laser Tag mode now has its own SFX recordings for Domination Box announcements, this is very good for the people that want a Laser Tag theme, accent is US female English professionally recorded for Battlefield Sports.
  • Revised Master Controller menus – commands now categorized into sub menus
  • Can set indoor/outdoor mode from the master controller (commonly requested feature by the operators)
  • Can set the Language by the master controller
  • Can use the master controller to perform mystery box commands.

IAAPA's Laser Tag Meeting

Katie Bruno from the IAAPA committee has invited laser tag operators to a networking meeting as part of IAAPA.

iaapa trade showIt will be held in Room S230DE from 5-6 pm on Wednesday, November 20.

Katie says they have round tables available to provide seating, food and beverage will not be provided. This is simply a room to network and connect with other laser tag operators. The committee will be there to take your comments and suggestions on how IAAPA can serve your constituency best!

Leslie Hutcheson, Manager - FEC Programs - International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions will also be there.

Ken Dubay from Battlefield Sports will also be on hand at this meeting.
