Featured Emulation: the Disruptor

Featured Emulation - The Disruptor

The gaming engine SATR3 emulates more than 350 emulations from modern military weapon emulations to fantasy emulations and gaming support roles.

Today we feature the famous sci-fi long arm, the Disruptor. This is a famous sci-fi weapon!

The Disruptor Rifle

This sci-fi rifle is a new weapon emulation in the SATR3 system. In SATR2 our gaming engine supported 4 classes of battle weapons, SATR3 now supports 25 classes of emulation.

  • The Disruptor is a new emulation in the Battlefield Sci-fi genre.
As quoted on Scifi-Weapons Wikia, Mark Wilson author of "Famous Spaceships of Fact and Fantasy" is quoted as saying a Disruptor is used for a whole family of energy weapons which are, on a basic level, equivalent of a Phaser - except they hurt more.

A Battlefield Sports gaming gun, such as a Morita, with this weapon emulation, has a default configuration of long range.

Here are the Gaming Gun Specifications

  • Magazine Capacity: 30
  • Fire mode: semi-auto
  • Recoil: 2
  • Rate of Fire: High 120
  • Range: medium
  • Reloads: 12
  • Reload duration: 3 seconds
  • Jam Rate: 1
  • Weapon Damage rate: 78
  • Origin: sci-fi

A Morita SAW configured as a Disruptor would certainly make its presence felt on any battlefield.
