The third generation live-gaming system SATR3 offers more than 300 emulations. The gaming engine SATR2 emulates 69 different weapons. These weapon emulations are categorized into four (4) classes:
Today we feature the Steyr AUG Rifle.
The Steyr rifle is one of the many weapon emulations in the SATR system. It is particularly popular for Battlefield Operators from Australia.
It is also a great choice for those battlefield operators who have included the new HB14 model in their arsenal.
The Steyr features a 30 shot magazine and fires both automatic and semi-automatic. This weapon emulation has 6 spare magazines of 5.56mm NATO ammunition and takes only 3 seconds to reload.
Its default emulation is long-range.
Like any weapon emulation in the SATR laser tag system, you can override this default. For example, you can set its range to "indoor" for shorter range.
The Steyr AUG rifle has been the standard-issue service rifle of the Australian Armed Forces since 1977. The Steyr (Armee Universal Gewehr – in other words, the Universal Army Rifle) was first adopted as the Stg.77.
The Steyr AUG has been used by many armed forces including Australia, Austria, New Zealand, Oman, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and, Ireland.

The Honey Badger or Spitfire laser tag gun models when using the weapon emulation Steyr AUG would normally be configured with Long Range.
