SATR2 emulates 69 different weapons. The new SATR3 live gaming engine has more than 300 emulations. These weapons are categorized into four (4) classes:
Today we feature the MAT49-32 submachine gun emulation. This is an iconic SMG, made famous in the Indo-China war.
The MAT49 is a popular weapon emulation in the SATR system.
The MAT49 submachine gun features a 20 shot magazine, is capable of fully automatic and semiautomatic fire. It is default emulation is short range.
It has 9 spare magazines of 9mm Parabellum ammunition and takes 3 seconds to reload.
The MAT-49 submachine gun was developed at the French state arms factory “Manufacture Nationale d'Armes de Tulle†in the late 1940s and was adopted French Army in 1949.
First batches of this submachine gun were made in 1950, and production continued until 1979.
The weapon found considerable favor with airborne and mechanized troops, who prized it for its simplicity, ruggedness, firepower, and compactness.

A Scorpion or a Honey Badger configured as a MAT49 would normally be configured at either short range.
