Challenge your young players to get moving and score points with this new, active game that will create plenty of laughs and move those feet!
Blaze Tag directs your players' energy into something simple yet engaging.
Build their agility while having loads of fun.
Blaze Tag has two awesome, team-based activities: Flash and Gauntlet.
Kids wear sleek, lightweight smart wristbands color-coded to their team: Red or Blue. They can play as one team against a clock or target score or battle each other—Red vs. Blue—to see which team can score the most points or complete the gauntlet first.
There are no laser tag guns here!
Instead, participants try to tag small, interactive pods scattered around a field or court. These pods light up and make fun sound effects.
Learning from the lessons of our 25 years in the Laser Tag business, Battlefield Sports has built an activity that will engage kids five and up! This is achieved through gaming principles like scoring points, positive feedback with light and sound effects, and a strong focus on team victories.
Blaze Tag allows dozens of participants to engage in the activity at once. Regardless of how big your team is, no kids will sit bored on the sidelines while they wait for their turn to play!
Blaze Tag is a revolutionary take on laser tag that ditches traditional laser tag guns in favor of smart wristbands and interactive pods.
These high-tech wristbands and pods are the heart of the game.
These e-wristbands, equipped with an ingenious beacon and responsive sound effects, communicate wirelessly with the Blaze Tag pods.
There are two activities: Flash and Gauntlet.
Activity #1: Flash Get the kids running with this fun activity! Each participant gets a wristband: Red or Blue. The pods are scattered around the field or court. These will light up at random. When a pod lights up red, the red team can score points. When it lights up blue, the blue team can score points.
The kids move as quickly as possible to score as many points as possible for their team. The pods stay on for a "flash." While on, multiple team kids can earn points. However, one player can only earn one point per flash.
Once players have tagged a pod, they must go to a different pod to score another point. This setup encourages teamwork and promotes movement. The risk of collisions is lower because the teams are directed toward different pods.
More, they do not have to touch the pods physically. All they need to do is get close! This allows for many participants at once.
When players reach the pod, their wristband lights up and emits a happy beep, providing positive reinforcement.
The game operates on a sophisticated digital radio network, ensuring seamless wristband and pod communication.
Jump into a race of challenges and obstacles. Only as a team can you emerge victorious! Gauntlet is the perfect system to track how long kids can complete an obstacle course as a team.
They can race against another team or the clock. Set up a series of challenges featuring obstacles like a small climbing wall, monkey bars, and jumping blocks. Pods are set up at the end of each challenge (such as at the top of the climbing wall or at the end of the monkey bars).
Whenever the participant reaches the end, their wristband links up with the pod. Their success is tallied for their team.
Now, it's up to everyone else on their team to do the same! Once the team has completed every challenge, their time is shown on the app.
Team Time Trials
With the Gauntlet activity, you can measure your team's speed across a large running track or between waypoints. Test their skills, leaving no one behind.
After all, your team is only as good as your worst player!
There are no shortcuts in Gauntlet. Every player must get to the checkpoint, otherwise the trial is incomplete! The last player to complete the course determines the time taken.
Your group must work together if it wants to win. As the competitive spirit takes over in this race to the finish line, participants will naturally encourage their slower teammates.
Track your players' improvement week by week with the same time trial.
Summer camp directors and sports coaches thrive on versatility, innovation, and the ability to offer unique experiences to players of all ages. They want to be able to engage a group of 10, 20, or even 30 kids at once. Blaze Tag checks all these boxes and more. Here’s why it’s an ideal addition to your offerings:
Blaze Tag’s compact design means no bulky guns or complicated equipment. The smart wristbands are lightweight, and the pods are easy to transport and set up. This means you can focus on creating a fun and seamless experience for your clients.
The game’s objectives encourage movement, teamwork, and strategy. Players must work together to reach the lit pods and score points. This collaborative approach makes Blaze Tag appealing to school field trips, corporate events, and summer camps.
The integration of light and sound effects keeps players engaged throughout the game. Studies show that 90% of participants in interactive games are more likely to return for repeat experiences when the gameplay is immersive and novel (Source: Skift Meetings Megatrends 2025 Report ).
